AskNewt Messaging Terms
Effective November 4, 2026
AskNewt is operated by AskNewt LLC ("we"). These terms cover the text messages (SMS, MMS and RCS) and WhatsApp messages we send you.
- What you'll get
If you opt in, we message you about:
- your hotel and flight bookings: confirmations, changes, cancellations and trip reminders
- your account: for example, when a linked account needs reconnecting or a budget alert you set is triggered
- reminders you've turned on: for example, retirement-account deadlines
- support: replies when you message us. Some support replies are automated. Reply AGENT at any time to reach a person.
- How to opt in
- In the AskNewt app or website, add your mobile number, tick the consent box and enter the code we send you. You don't have to agree to receive messages to buy anything from us or use AskNewt.
- How often
- Message frequency varies with your bookings and the alerts you turn on.
- Cost
- Message and data rates may apply. AskNewt doesn't charge for messages.
- How to stop
- Reply STOP to any text message. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE and OPT OUT also work. We'll send one message confirming you're unsubscribed, then nothing more. On WhatsApp, reply STOP. You can also turn messages off in Settings → Texts & WhatsApp. To start again after replying STOP, reply START. If you turned messages off in Settings, add your number again there.

- Reply HELP, or email hello@asknewt.com.
- Where it's available
- Text messages go to US mobile numbers only. WhatsApp messages are available in most countries where WhatsApp operates, except countries under US sanctions.
- Delivery
- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Keep your number current
- If you change or give up your number, update or remove it in Settings so your messages don't go to someone else.
- Security
- We will never ask for your password, full account numbers or card details by text or WhatsApp. Please don't send them to us.
- Privacy
- We use your number only to send the messages described above. We don't share your mobile number or your opt-in consent with anyone for their marketing. See our Privacy Policy.
- Changes
- We may update these terms. We'll post changes on this page and, if a change materially affects you, tell you by message.
